Salto del Hippie o Rio Blanco : Hippie’s Waterfall or White River, Naguabo PR

Salto el Hippie

Just to the south of El Yunque National Forest, Hippie’s Waterfall, or Salto del Hippie, should be on your short list

Hippie is a big and deep Nice pool filled by cool and refreshing waters coming down from El Yunque, it's easy to get to since you can park the car on a spot. It's about 65 ft wide by 65 ft long. As soon as you arrive you'll see these big whitish rocks all along the river. The big one is about 25 foot wide and looks like it's balancing on top of other smaller rocks,The rocks are amazingly smooth and make for a more relaxing afternoon than some of the other local waterfalls.

Hippie’s Waterfall makes for a great picnic area or just a fun day at the waterfalls.

The one warning or caution is that you should pay attention to the rate of water flow. There are times of the year that it can be quite slow and easy going, but it can also become a beast roaring to life with some heavy rain, even rain that fell days prior.

You can enter in your car and park on top of a little hill, there are some stairs to go down to the river.

The Upper Part Of The River

The river also haves a upper part, but it’s a little bit sketchy. To get to the top part of it you have to cross the river rocks and it could get a little slippery, but the good thing of it is that nobody likes to go up there so you can probably be alone with a alone part of the river pool like the one from the picture. It haves a big jump but you have to talk to someone or ask a local guy where to jump cause of the rocks under the water.

The Entrance

Now when you this, it means you’re getting to it J

Air Planes Beach : Playa Aviones, Loiza

Aviones Beach

Best known for surfing. Aviones is 1 of 3 beaches from the north coast of Puerto Rico that is always throwing out waves even if it’s summer where we don’t usually have many waves.

Aviones is called like it because many year ago a plane crash down in that beach, but yeah that’s what people say.

To the left of the beach there’s a really beautiful pond in front of the rocks, where you can go relax and seat down.
The pond is all sand or you can go to the right where there is another pond just in front of the reef but sometimes there a little current that it pushes you to the right, but still it is fun to go.

Dont forget to bring Sunscreen !!

OHH yeah and I forgot, when you are entering to Piñones in Loiza you can go and grab some local food like (Alcapurias, Bacalaitos, Piononos) from the little like bungalows…

you will see them.

The New Adventure

Hi my good friends,

I hope you are all good.

Well this is my new blog that is going to be dedicated to those who would like to adventure and doesn’t know even where to start.

Starting with me, I’m one of the owners of Entodo, you can look for it at Facebook or at www.entodo.me . My friends call me “Bebi” since I was little.  I grow up in a world where taking photographs & making videos was my hobby, but not anymore. For those who don’t know I’m studying Civil Engineering in la Polytechnic University of PR in my senior year. My hobby has become my work, doing that thing you love with all the happiness in the world where every day you can look at it again & again and again and your never get bored. It's a little funny cause im not use to it, that random people at the events come in front of me asking me for my autograph haha feels good the a way.. that some can inspire others with still moments

Taking a camera in my hands I think it was one of the best things I did in my life. I don’t consider myself a photographer, just a happy kid that likes to grab his camera & take pictures everywhere I go. I shoot my photos with my Nikon’s & I have all type of lenses, SD cards & filters. If a have to give the thanks to someone it is to my friends, cause of them I’m the person that I am today & happy kid that takes pictures like the ones I take around, they were my first motivation to go adventuring around my beautiful island.

I’m going to be posting on the blog all over every week talking about some places around the island (Puerto Rico) like; beaches, rivers, caves & many other locations where you can go like secrete spots & places where people haven’t got yet, the best thing about it will be the pictures that I’m going to be posting within the article that I write.

These articles will have their locations from Google Maps so you can jump in your car and go on your free time around to the place you love more. This could be very useful to people that aren’t event from Puerto Rico.

I know the tourist will love this & some hotels could use it to help their clients when they rent a car or the transportation they are taking from the place they are staying.

THE GOLONDRINA CAVE : CUEVA DE LAS GOLONDRINAS, MANATI, PUERTO RICO

Golondrinas Cave is one of Puerto Rico most top beautiful beaches from the north coast of the island. Located in Manati.

La Cueva de las Golondrinas is know because just side by side there’s another famous beach called La Poza de las Mujeres, is another beauty of this island with its crystal clear waters and the amazing rock that you can climb.

Why is it called Golondrinas Cave?

Golondrina is a migratory bird that lives all around the world, moving from one part of the world to another. One of the stops for years is been the cave   because they do their nest on top of the rocks from the caves like the batts, best place to be safe for this little birds that they are only 2 to 4 inches tall.

When is it good to go?

All the year is good to go, the water on summer (May-August) is super warm & maybe in winter (November - February) is just 2 or 3 degrees less than usual but it is still perfect conditions to go.
